Pastoral Team
Frankie Hyoungjin Kim
Senior Pastor
Frankie Kim was born and raised in South Korea before moving to Canada in 2009 to pursue his calling of becoming a pastor by studying theology. While initially intending to prepare for missionary work with his wife, he felt called to start a pastoral ministry instead.
In 2015, Frankie graduated from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto and moved to Pelly to begin his pastoral work. Over the course of seven years, he and his family witnessed God's great work in Pelly, discovering that the town offered more opportunities for ministry than Toronto. These included visits to Bible camps, Bible colleges, and the local First Nations Reserve. Recently, they began a new pastoral role at our church.
Frankie is a dedicated student of theology and the Bible, having earned a Master of Theological Studies in Biblical Green concentration from Tyndale Seminary in 2015, and a Master of Theology (Anabaptist Discipleship: Progressive Sanctification and the Role of Community) from North-West University in South Africa in 2022. He is also currently pursuing a PhD in Historical Theology at the University of the Free State in South Africa. (A comparative analysis of the Ecclesiologies of Zwingli and Hubmaier in the Swiss Reformation)
Apart from his ministry, Frankie has a passion for music and is skilled at playing several instruments. He also enjoys watching historical dramas and Marvel films.
He is happily married to his wife Minju, who works as an Education assistant at St Theodore School, Children's coordinator at our church, and together they have a beautiful daughter named Choah who is currently in 8th grade.
Overall, Frankie is a devoted pastor and scholar who is committed to serving God and his community through his ministry and ongoing studies.

Jared Parsons
Education Pastor
Jared was born and raised in Swan River, Manitoba. He has a particular passion for camp and youth ministry, as it was through these ministries that he became a Christian. He thoroughly believes in the importance of reaching children and youth with the Good News of Christ and equipping them to be lifelong disciples.
Since his first time attending Madge Lake Bible Camp in 2006, he has been heavily involved in the ministry there, initially attending as a camper and later serving in a wide range of staff roles. In 2013, he began working as a Volunteer Youth Leader at Temple Baptist Church and in 2017, he transitioned to the position of Youth and Young Adults Ministry Co-ordinator. During his time working at TBC, Jared began to realize his calling towards full time ministry. Following this calling, he moved to Caronport, Saskatchewan in 2021 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry through Briercrest College and Seminary, with a focus on Youth and Pastoral Ministry. During his final year at Briercrest, Jared moved to Yorkton, where he worked as a Ministry Intern at Yorkton Alliance Church.
Outside of his main ministry roles, Jared is involved in the Saskatchewan Association of Wild West Shooters where he began a “Cowboy Church” outreach in 2019. He has enjoyed this grassroots outreach as it has provided the opportunity to share the gospel in a unique way and reach people who may not otherwise attend a more conventional church service.
He is happily married to his wife, Sarah, who works as a teacher at Sacred Heart High School. Jared is excited to begin his career in Ministry and hopes to reach as many members of this community as possible.
Bachelor of Arts: Christian Ministry, Briercrest College and Seminary, SK, Canada
